Synopsis
Reaching for Light follows a team of engineers and filmmakers on a mission to film the Aurora Borealis up close.
Using stratospheric balloon technology and novel camera systems, Sent Into Space specialise in capturing incredible imagery of the Earth from the edge of space.
Now, they attempt to fulfil a livelong ambition: film the Aurora from closer than ever before, in ultra high-resolution 360° video, to create an immersive, panoramic video that immerses viewers in their very own spacewalk inside the Aurora.
But as they travel far above the Arctic Circle, with a narrow launch window and untested camera technology, will they be able to capture the majesty of this fleeting natural wonder and share it with the world, or are they chasing moonbeams?
